Vehicle DymaniX Helps Dan Baudoux Take Home Sportsman 2 Championship |
|
Press Release – September 5, 2006 – Crandon, Wisconsin
Dan Baudoux, with the help of his expert driving and some Vehicle DynamiX suspension development and tuning, succeeded in not only winning both of his races at Crandon, but also brought home the Sportsman 2 championship!
After the last Bark River race where Dan clearly had a fast truck, but was not able to put enough power to the ground, he worked with Vehicle DynamiX to modify the rear suspension geometry to optimize the balance between maximum forward bite and critical road following abilities. The end result was Dan could put the power to the ground wherever he needed and was able to handily take home two World Championship rings from Crandon.
According to Dan, "The truck has never worked better. Between what Mark Hansen (Vehicle DynamiX) did with the suspension, and what Rob Wright has done with the motor, this truck is unstoppable."
On Saturday, Dan got the hole-shot and never looked back. According to Dan, once out in front, he never really had to push the truck. The steering improvements over the last winter and the rear suspension changes implemented in the last few weeks made the truck very easy to drive very fast. On Sunday, Dan had to work his way past a couple of racers to get to the front and bring home another win. "No problem with the way this truck is set up now."
"This truck is a rocket", perfect for "Dan, The Rocket Man". The sky's the limit!
